I had the incredible privilege of participating in a project in southern Thailand with a community known as The Southern Peasants Federation of Thailand (SPFT), a movement of landless farmers reclaiming land ravaged by the palm oil industry. Together they are working to revitalize and regenerate the land through collective land ownership and agroecology.

In May of 2025 , I traveled to Fiji with a small team to document an organization based in Suva. Social Empowerment and Education Programme (SEEP) is a social justice network in the Pacific Islands that works with Indigenous (Taukei) communities in Fiji. SEEP promotes people–centered development and community well–being in furthering climate justice, agroecology, and gender-based rights.
